Important Dates
Applications
are processed all year round. When you have been accepted you can
register and purchase the study material for the initial course(s)
of your choice. You can then begin to study and aim to sit the exam(s)
at the next available sitting. Deadlines are set by the University
for completion of the admission process so that you have sufficient
time to prepare for the next available examination.
You can sit
a minimum of one examination at a time and are advised to take no
more than six examinations in any one year.
Examinations
are held twice a year, in early May and mid October. You can choose
when you wish to sit the exams for the courses you have been studying
as long as you meet the following deadlines :
If you apply
before 31 January of any year, and then register and purchase study
material before 15 March, you can submit your course assignment(s)
by 15 September and sit your first exam(s) in October of the same
year.
If you apply
by 31 July of any year, and register and purchase study material before
15 October, you can submit your course assignment(s) by 31 March and
sit your first exam(s) in May of the next year.

Examinations
are normally conducted at the local British Council office or the
British Embassy.
