from the Director, LSE External Study.
The
academic direction of this degree is undertaken by the London
School of Economic and Political Science (LSE).
The
aim of the degree is not only to cover the analysis of a certain
set of topics but to teach an approach to a logical analysis
of social and individual decision-making. It is centred around
a core of economic theory and the tools it requires, but there
are opportunities for specialisation in particular applications
in the 'optional units'.

Graduate Entry Route |
|
This provides an opportunity for graduates of any discipline
to gain an additional undergraduate degree by following a
shorter than normal programme, successfully completing nine
full units rather than twelve. This can normally be achieved
in a minimum of two years with the exception of the BSc Economics,
BSc Development & Economics and the BSc Information Systems
& Management. |
